What is "VEE THROTTLE?"

Vthrotl Simulators Inc. was founded in 2024 by David Desjardins, fueled by a lifelong passion for cars, motorsports, and racing games. As a child, David dreamed of becoming a professional driver, and while that dream didn’t materialize, his passion for motorsports never faded. Instead, he pivoted to film and television, where he thrived with over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry—working as a visual effects compositor, motion designer, creative director, producer, and business owner. Seeing an exciting opportunity to merge his creative vision, technical expertise, and problem-solving skills with his love for racing, David launched Vthrotl Simulators.

David’s journey into virtual racing began in the 1980s with Rad Racer on the NES, a hobby that stuck with him throughout life. Later, he tried his hand at various track days and auto slalom events, enjoying real-world competition in his own tuned and modified street car. During the pandemic, David dove into high-end sim racing hardware, spending months researching, upgrading, and perfecting his own rig as a form of personal escape and therapy.

This passion led to the creation of Vthrotl Simulators, with a mission to simplify the often overwhelming process of investing in high-end sim racing hardware for enthusiasts in Southwestern Ontario. Partnering with Advanced Sim Racing, Vthrotl provides custom-built, high-performance racing simulators and powerful performance PCs for those who are passionate about high-end sim racing but lack the time or expertise to manage the complexities themselves. Beyond just delivering the hardware, we ensure that the equipment is tailored to your fit, provide training, and offer support to make sure you get the most out of your investment.
